New Mexico Association for Behavior Analysis (NMABA) is a professional organization established in 2011, to represent the field of Behavior Analysis in New Mexico. NMABA is a professional association for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA) and for people practicing or interested in Behavior Analysis.
We use and support the principles and practices of Behavior Analysis. What is Behavior Analysis?
We disseminate information about Behavior Analysis and provide professional development activities and networking opportunities to Behavior Analysts and to those interested in this field.
NMABA is an association that serves as a community resource for Behavior Analysts, professionals in New Mexico interested in Behavior Analysis and to the consumers they serve.

The Lead Behavioral Analyst/BCBA or BCaBA provides clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings. The Lead Behavioral Analyst/BCBA or BCaBA is responsible for drawing upon their experience to educate and train new staff on professional and clinical skills as well as client protocols. The Lead Behavioral Analyst/BCBA or BCaBA will facilitate communication between team members, lead team meetings, manage and disseminate client data, and ensure that all team members have the necessary support, training, and materials to assist the client in reaching their full potential.
